Open your next brew with a tool that tells a story. This handcrafted bottle opener is made from reclaimed Totara, one of New Zealand’s most revered native timbers, known for its rich reddish-brown tones and fine grain. Salvaged from old structures and reborn as a functional keepsake, each opener carries the character of its past life—making every crack of a bottle feel like a small celebration.

Featuring a solid reclaimed Totara handle, offering warmth, durability, and a unique patina and a metal opener insert for reliable performance and long-lasting use, each opener is hand shaped, ensuring a comfortable grip and smooth feel in the hand. Once sanded smooth each bottle opener is then finished with multiple coats of 100% Tung Oil for water resistance and protection.

Perfect for the home bar, bach, or barbecue kit, this bottle opener is more than just a tool—it’s a piece of New Zealand heritage in your hand. A great gift for beer lovers, wood enthusiasts, or anyone who appreciates the charm of reclaimed materials. Crack open a cold one with character.

Bottle openers measure approximately 12cm long x 5cm wide at their widest point and are 2cm thick.

No two of these bottle openers will be exactly the same due to the natural variations in the timber grain and the handmade nature of the items.
